Note: GP-MC inputs are individually configurable using Omni7 / OmniLog. Each input requires conditioning using a 'Probe Set' - see example picture below:

GP-MC Inputs

The GP-MC has an internal battery which powers the logger and probes. However, it can also be powered by an external 5V to 15V dc Plug Pack or Battery.
The main reasons for using the External power input are:

  • When large current draw from probes would flatten the Internal battery; and
  • At very low temperature (< 10ºC) where the Internal battery voltage can drop.
  • External power can also be used to run the logger while the internal battery is changed.

The Internal battery runs the logger if External power fails. There is an External Power Status Monitor in Omni7 / OmniLog software.

Please note that Intech Instruments' recommends the internal battery be left in place in case the external power supply fails. The internal battery will keep the logger going should this happen. More information below:

If the logger is run with no internal battery and the external supply fails the logger will turn off. When the external power supply is turned back on, the logger will reboot and will be in "Stopped" mode. The logger will need to be configured in "start on condition" mode and "loop" mode and the "Start Logger" button clicked to initialise the next recording cycle.
It is recommended that the internal battery is left in. No power is drawn from the internal battery when the external supply fails and the internal battery will keep the logger running during the down time. The logger will stay on standby and start on condition even if the external supply is still down.

A lot of people say thermocouple to mean temperature probes, where as if the temperature range they are measuring is between -50 and +200 degrees C, then Pt1000 is more accurate and cheaper to implement than thermocouple. The GP-MC accepts Pt1000 input (with the necessary resistors). Thermocouples are ideal for high temperature ranges.

The only way that the GP-MC can accept a thermocouple signal is via an intermediary transmitter like the XU Series with an output signal of 4~20mA.
mA-MC-PS input cables for each input from the XU Series transmitter(s) into the GP-MC are also required.

HT-LCD

HT-LCD - Humidity & Temperature

The HT-LCD is a handheld humidity data logger with an integral humidity sensor and liquid crystal display. Both Relative Humidity and Dew Point can be displayed and logged. The HT-LCD uses a Sensirion SHT11 digital humidity sensor giving ±3.0%RH accuracy from 20%RH to 80%RH.

This logger is designed for indoor use (IP 40). For outdoor applications, we recommend a THT-LCD with a IP66 Weather Proof Enclosure.
The THT-LCD logger is identical to the HT-LCD logger, except that it has an external Humidity/Temperature probe.

THT-LCD

THT-LCD - Humidity & Dual Temperature

The THT-LCD is a handheld humidity data logger with an external humidity and temperature probe and a liquid crystal display.
Both Relative Humidity and Dew Point can be displayed and logged.

There are two external Humidity/Temperature probes available for the THT-LCD (the THT-LCD includes the HT11-Probe):
The HT11-Probe uses a Sensirion SHT11 digital humidity sensor giving ±3.0%RH accuracy from 20%RH to 80%RH.
The HT15-Probe uses a Sensirion SHT15 digital humidity sensor giving ±2.0%RH accuracy from 10%RH to 90%RH.
The probe is connected to a socket on the end plate at the top of the logger. The probe cable is 1.5 meters in length.

Tc-LCD

Tc-LCD - Thermocouple

The Tc-LCD is a handheld two channel high resolution (16 bit) temperature data logger with a liquid crystal display. The logger connects to an external thermocouple probe and also has an internal temperature sensor for convenient logging of ambient temperature if desired.

The logger accepts Type J,K,N,R and T thermocouple probes (factory set to Type K).

The T-HR is a small single channel high resolution (12 bit) Temperature data logger.

 HT-HR

HT-HR - Humidity & Temperature

The HT-HR is a small Dual Channel High Resolution (16 bit) Humidity and Temperature data logger.

The humidity and temperature sensors are housed in a 60 micron Stainless Steel filter at the top of the logger.

The HT-HR (Mk 4) now uses a Sensirion SHT15 digital humidity sensor giving ±2.0%RH accuracy from 10%RH to 90%RH.

 Tc-HR

Tc-HR - Thermocouple Temperature

The Tc-HR is a small Two Channel High Resolution (16 bit) Temperature data logger.

The logger connects to an external Thermocouple probe and also has an internal temperature sensor for convenient logging of ambient temperature if desired.
The logger accepts Type J, K, N, R and T thermocouple probes (factory set to Type K).

 Pt-HR

Pt-HR - External RTD (Pt100/Pt500/Pt1000) Temperature

The Pt-HR is a small Two Channel High Resolution (16 bit) Temperature data logger.

The logger connects to an external Pt100, Pt500 or Pt1000 sensor. It also has an internal temperature sensor for convenient logging of ambient temperature if desired.

 mV-HR

mV-HR - ±50mV / ±100mV / ±200mV / ±400mV

Intech Z-2400-A2 Series

 Z 2400 A2 Series

The Z-2400-A2 series of units support the communication of analogue and digital signals via a wireless link. The series consists of three separate wireless nodes for: Input, Output and Repeating, and does not require a computer to monitor the wireless network. Built on the ZigBee® protocol, this allows for multiple Z-2400-A2 wireless links to operate side by side at the same time.

The Output node is the base and acts as the master for the entire link. The Input node acts as a wireless remote station and seeks for the Output Base to transmit the input signals to. The Repeater node is the bridge between the Input and Output wireless nodes, and is only used when the distance between them is too large to communicate directly.

Note: The Z-2400-A2 Series are used for Stand-alone wireless data links. For MicroScan SCADA wireless data links, the Z-2400 Series are used

Model Description
Z-2400-A2IO The Z-2400-A2IO is the kit set of the Input (Z-2400-A2I) and Output (Z-2400-A2O) wireless nodes, supplied as a complete set paired to each other with a unique Mesh ID.
Z-2400-A2I The Z-2400-A2I is a 2 channel analogue input wireless node, when switched on it looks for the output node to sends it’s input values to via the wireless link.

The inputs are individually programmable as follows:

  • RTD: Pt100/Pt1000, -200~800°C.
  • Thermocouple: B, E, K, J, N, R, S, T, with CJC.
  • mA: 0~20mA (4~20mA).
  • mV: -25~25mV to -200~1000mV.
  • V: 0~1V to 0~18V.
  • Pulse/Digital Max speed 1Hz.
It also comes equipped with 4 digital inputs, 2 digital outputs, and 2 relay outputs.
Z-2400-A2O The Z-2400-A2O is a 2 channel analogue output wireless node. It acts as the base and controls it’s entire ZigBee wireless network. The analogue output is 4~20mA only at 24Vdc. Like the input node, it comes equipped with the matching 4 digital inputs and 4 digital/relay outputs.
Z-2400-A2R The Z-2400-A2R is quite simply a ZigBee wireless repeater. It is used to boost the signal strength between the other two nodes, input and output, to extend the range. The maximum number of repeater nodes per wireless mesh network is 15.
